Hi,

The easiest way to create a hive is to just use the hive designer:

Artificial Intelligence -> Hive Technology -> Hive Designer

Then go through the wizard to pick your favorite indicators. The key part here is that you pick QScript functions. In Earik's tutorial videos he mentions that you can create a "basket" of indicators, and just let the hive sort it out and it will manage and use the best ones. There is probably some upper limit, so I would limit this basket to 5 or so indicators. It will take a decently long time for the hive to do its thing when it is applied to a chart.

I find the hive works best on daily bars. (Though I did create something for Corn Futures at one point on a really long intraday bars, like 4 hours bars or something like that. It has been a while, and I haven't traded that in a long time, so I may be mis-remembering.)

Some additional resources:
- QScript Library has an example hive (Chicago Hive Update)
- https://www.wave59.com/About/GeniusFeat ... ology.aspx
- https://www.wave59.com/Portals/_default ... nology.mov

Good luck!

-Steven
