2.46 is up!

Post by earik » Sun Jul 13, 2025 7:39 pm

Hi gang,

Just a quick note that 2.46 is up. HUGE shout out to sbanks on this one, who gets credit for all the fixes that went into this build. He's officially the 3rd person who has ever been able to run the gauntlet and survive the volumes of C++ that make up W59's codebase.

If anyone has forgotten how this all works (it's been awhile, I know...), you can expect the auto-updater to catch it and prompt for an install. If not, just log into the member area, and you can download the big installer. Run it over the top of what you have, and it won't mess up any of your charts, etc. As usual, trying to update your tech 1min before the open on Monday is probably not the greatest idea, so save it for after the close. ;)

Hi Earik,

Thanks to you and sbanks for the 2.46 update. I logged into the members page and then to the download software section and do not see any software versions listed, previous or new. I only see "Back to Menu" for this section. I tried a different browser and still no luck. Also, the W59 Help check for update does not see any text displayed for the update. Never seen this issue before in the past, have always seen a software version displayed. Please let me know if you know what the issue is.

Thanks,
David

Never mind, I see it now. Somehow I was logging into an old account that was inactive from years ago.
