Guess who just enabled their first mechanical system mid-January? o.O

[Yes that last bar was my first trade. Uggh.]

Luckily I learned a lot from Earik's mechanical trading book, and my scaling algorithm wasn't *that* aggressive. It still hurt. Here is the pretend equity curve which I feel is pretty decent.

If it makes you feel any better, I just turned off my MVS system I shared last year as it did nothing but lose money on my live account for 6 straight months so I've definitely learned this isn't easy.

Also, sounds like your system bought just before the drop so I would chalk that up to Murphy's Law and be proud of the historically bad timing. Odds are with future systems you take live you won't be able to top that so it can only get better from here
