E-Signal data

Post by galaxy » Tue Jan 18, 2022 6:18 pm

I cannot get W59 to read e-signal data. Have tried many variations of the symbol, but no success. Any ideas on how to get it to read the data? Thanks.

Yeah, we stopped supporting them years ago. Basically, 80% of all the tech support had to do with eSignal problems. We never took the API out though, so it's still there. Works for some people, but not others...

Symbol-wise, they'll be the same as you enter in eSignal. If you're able to get some symbols to work, but not others, then it's some symbol thing. But if you can't get anything to plot at all, then it's a connection issue. In that second case, make sure eSignal is up and running, and that W59 shows a green check mark and "Ready" down in the lower left.

Is there a source of FREE commodity futures data that one can use with W59? End of Day is a must, but intraday would be an additional benefit.
Thanks to all.

This is what I see under the available data feeds setting:

Maybe the first one will give you want you need? (Not sure about intraday vs. daily but should be easy enough to test).
