I would appreciate some assistance with the setup of SpreadIB. I cannot connect to TWS (or IB-Gateway), and clicking on TWS connection settings does not bring up any windows or options. Also, when I click on Broadcast/File Settings, this does not bring up any windows or options either.
Any assistance would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

I recently learned, from someone else who was having some connection issues, that IB has changed their port numbers for paper accounts. So if you're trying to connect with a paper trading account at IB, try using port 7497 (instead of 7496). See if that helps....
