File corrupted? can t access

Post by dctommy » Wed Nov 16, 2022 2:25 am

Earik:

I have a chart that will not open...I suspect it is corrupted. W59 sits there for along time with the blue circle..I spend ALOT of time setting it up...
....now gone...???

Is there a way to access that chart and salvage it? Any tips from other users?

thanks

The chart file is a text file, so you can edit it manually. When a chart hangs on loading, it often is a problem with an indicator. If it's an indicator that's causing the issue, you can delete that section of the chart file and see if it opens. Just make a backup of the file in Windows Explorer in case you need to revert back to the original file.
