How to modify a visual pattern

Post by rlite4 » Thu Sep 01, 2022 3:09 pm

Hi,
Is there a way to replicate a pattern built using pattern builder, so one could have versions with different colored lines? For examples for patterns which are no longer in play but show previous conditions relevant to present price action.

Also does the pattern exist as a bitmap or is there a file describing the pattern which could be modified? this would help in fixing limitations of drawing skills for example where the lines in a pattern don't quite meet which becomes obvious the more the pattern size is increased.

Not sure about the first part of your question concerning replicating patterns. Seems like a good enhancement if Wave59 can't do that today.

When you build a pattern, it is just a good ole bitmap. However, it can be scaled on your chart (as well as rotated) and dragged around. I find that the scaling of the pattern seems to work quite well. I don't notice artifacts of lines starting to get out of parallel or anything like that.

Earik has some videos for the Fibonacci Vortex. Take a look at those. The patterns you create would handle similarly to the fibvortex in how it is adjusted and moved and scaled.
