Forex Data

Hi, I am having trouble getting forex data, I am using Iqfeed and I have checked several times to make sure I am entering the symbol correctly (Using EURUSD.FXCM)

Has anyone had this problem

Forex data is not included with the base IQFeed subscription. Forex data is an additional $25/$50/month. See bellow. You can add it in your account management (https://my.telventdtn.com/storefront/cu ... iceSummary) then under "Add Premium/Exchanges"

p.s. I don't work for them or anything...just use them :)

Thanks marpol. I contacted them, it turns out they put the forex data on a different account.

Does anyone know the best way to work out the Dollar Per Point for each currency,

You can multiply the pointValue by 10,000 to get the number of PIPS for most all crosses or multiply by 100 to get the number of PIPS for JPY Crosses.

Example:
Price Per point = 10,000
