Version 2.30

I HAVE TO RETRACT SOMETHING. PLEASE SEE MY POST BELOW.

Gentlemen,

DO NOT TRY TO INSTALL THE LATEST UPDATE, VERSION 2.30 IF YOU ARE USING WINDOWS 10.

What is occurring is:

1) The Update did not properly install, and

2) There is an error message that says.................

THIS PROGRAM WILL NOT RUN ON YOUR COMPUTER. CHECK WITH THE PUBLISHER

The install is indicating that it cannot find the subdirectory C:\Programs Files (x86)

I had to revert to Version 2.29 (at 3:30 am this morning)

Sincerely,

Joseph

Hi Joseph,

There aren't any differences between 2.29 and 2.30 as far as the installer/compiler/etc, so I don't see why Win10 would have trouble with 2.30 if it worked with 2.29. It might be something else. Once you've got some time, try this:

1) restart your computer (to make sure all instances of W59 are gone)
2) go start - programs - wave59 - check for updates

Did that get you onto 2.30, or did it still fail?

Hello Gentlemen,

I MADE A MISTAKE.

I HAVE JUST SUCCESSFULLY INSTALLED ON MY WINDOWS 10 MACHINE, VERSION 2.30.

There was a little effort to initialize the install from the Setup File because Windows 10 "thinks" that *.EXE files are potentially dangerous, but version 2.30 did install completely.

Sorry for the inadvertent alert earlier this morning.

HI Joseph

Can you please explain to me How you initialized the file? I am getting the same error message when trying to run the monitor and will likely happen to me also when I try to upgrade my version.

Hello Mike,

I downloaded the complete Setup File and installed Version 2.30 as if it was a brand new program.

Go to your Member Login on the main Wave59 website. It is in the upper right had corner of your monitor just about Contact US.

Then enter your Member Login information and you will see a link 'Download the Program.'
