My Own Work
Re: My Own Work
This time around I wanted to tackle something a little different so decided to show you one of my favorite longer term charts. The method is relatively easy and uses planet speed lines to forecast support and resistance areas. As usual we start by identifying our energy signature and that begins with identifying EIP’s. There was a significant one on March of last year and that is what we are keying on here. Since we are using principles of Reflective Energy theory we must define the reflective side of our energy signature. [Reflective Energy theory is a sub theory of Energy Flow theory and is not part of this discussion. For those of you who were on the old forum I did go into RE somewhat when I was discussing Gerbino Reflective Energy Grid charts (GREG) about 10 years ago.] In this case we are using the orbital period of Mars which is 687 days. (As a little aside within RE theory sometimes this period is doubled.) The speed lines themselves are an average of Mercury and the Moons Node/geo. Points to 360* is set to a GS number. The final thing you will have to work out is the fractal spacing. As you can see from the chart it is set at 240 points. So what you would do is start on the low of the EIP and move up and down from there 240 points and place another speed line there. Finally you do the same thing on the other end of the energy signature.
Believe me I know there is a lot of holes in this post for you to try and replicate this work. However it was not meant to be step by step guide in doing so. The real purpose of here is to give you some insight into how I approach the use of Planetary Speed Lines in Wave 59 and perhaps give you some ideas on how you can too.
Best,
Joe

Solid thus far this morning, not so much yesterday. Use at your own peril if so inclined.

Re: My Own Work
Well, in my old high school quarterback days we would say I just "pulled a rock." A sanitized translation would be I essentially didn't get the job done today. Performance for the past 3 out of 4 days has been very good during ETH hours and poor during RTH though not really sure why. Will be shelving this tomorrow and take a deeper look at it over the weekend.

Re: My Own Work
Hi Guy’s,
I have been away for about a week or so and haven’t had a chance to post much but did want to catch you up on what I have been working on. I wasn’t pleased in the Planet Rise Harmonic CIT’s of my last post so have been concentrating on developing more accurate exchanges for better models. This of course intertwines with other work within Wave59 also. Below is a screenshot of the PRH and a Natal Forecast. Essentially pleased with both. I thought about posting the forecasts this morning but saw Dirk had an EF going on and didn’t want to crowd him. Besides, you can’t go wrong with anything he does. So will tighten this up a bit more and we will revisit it shortly.

Re: My Own Work
One of the things I have been focusing on for the past 6 or so months is reducing the amount of inversions and harmonic adjustments in the Natal Forecast. I have been able to accomplish this in part by isolating more recent energy signatures. This approach has reduced EMGP influence but has also helped better identify the fractal component of the forecast. The first chart below represents one of my older models that is relying more heavily on EMGP influence. The second chart is using a more recent energy signature. The highlighted area shows an area that missed the drop completely but caught the ensuing market action quite well. More importantly there have been no inversions or harmonic adjustments necessary thus far in the forecast. All in all like the old saying goes, so far so good.
One last thing. Dirk also happens to be posting Natal Forecasts lately and realize that inevitably comparisons may be made. However please understand there are no “contests” going on here or anything like that. Dirk is a respected member of the board and I like his work … A Lot!
Best,
Joe

Re: My Own Work
BTW Joe, thanks for posting. This is very interesting. I haven't had a chance to play around with any of these techniques yet. But I might play around a bit over the weekend when I get a free moment.
Re: My Own Work
Hi sbank,
Best of luck with the research. If you run into any problems or have any questions just let me know and I'll do my best to help out.

Re: My Own Work
So everything apparently back on track ... so far anyway. As I am sure you all know markets have a way of humbling all that dare to participate from time to time. The first chart is a NF using the same model as the one from the other day only this one is looking at a shorter time frame and thus needs to look deeper into a deeper fractal. We did get an inversion a little after 0800. The second chart looks at Planet Rise Harmonic CIT's.

Re: My Own Work
Nailing it so far. No guarantees going forward though.
You might also want to keep an eye on the near miss area of 0813. I had one yesterday at 1357 that would have made me look like a genius had I used it but missed by a fraction to qualify as a valid CIT.
