Aug 14 Astro + Volume
Hi All, Yesterday's post by Quark about astro trading got me interested in looking at some of this stuff again, and I thought I'd post some of what happened over the last two days. One of the problems with doing intraday astro (or astro in general) is that there are just way too many things going on...

Sending Private Messages
Hi Everyone, One of the features of this board is that there are a TON of different permissions that can be set, for all sorts of different types of users. It looks like the default may have been a little too conservative though, because not everyone was able to send private messages. I *think* it's...

Re: Newbie (to W59) Astro Analysis
Hi Quark, Intraday astro is pretty cool stuff. Back in 2005, this is pretty much what I spent my time doing all day. :) Here's one you missed: es_astro_13aug2015.png Keep in mind that although you can solve these down to the second, markets are never really that precise, especially if you've got oth...

Natal Forecast this week
Hi All, Someone had asked me a question about the Natal Forecast earlier today, and when I pulled up a chart, I was pleasantly surprised to see what had been happening: nf_6aug2015.png I'm pretty much 100% automated at this point in my own trading, so although I'm a big fan of forecast lines and tha...

New Xenith Utility
Hi All, There's a new Xenith59 utility up at http://www.wave59.com/transfer/xenith59.zip . This one should be fully compatible with the new API that Metastock has been using. If you've been having trouble with your Xenith feed, download that, unzip, then run the installer and you'll be brought curre...

Re: Energy Trading - July 22
Hi Simon, The value is just a running total that starts at an arbitrary point in the beginning. If you took two charts, using the exact same data, but left one day off at the beginning, both charts would show a different value. That's because it's a kind of cumulative calculation, and since there's ...

Re: Energy Trading - July 22
Hi Simon,
I will check it out. When you say reload, do you re-download the history for the day, or just do a "recalculate all" on the chart?

Yes, there is. From IQC, look in the help menu and you'll find a movie there.

Re: Energy Trading - July 22
Hi Soldado, The current version (2.22) has it. You need to be using IQFeed though, and you have to run that data feed through a new utility (IQCollector), which ships with 2.22. Then, in W59, connect it up by going file - data source = iqcollector, and you get some new chart types, as well as the ab...
