Re: New Order Placement Tools in 2.26
Thanks, Gezza. Occasionally, one and only one tick above/below, but for ES that's it. What can I say, I'm a Virgo, predisposed to order and clarity... :D Today I got to thinking how one might implement your suggestion, at least what I think you may have been suggesting, and came up with this: ES_tre...

Re: New Order Placement Tools in 2.26
Hi Earik, Right, of course -- now that I think about it I remember seeing that icon in the Drawing Popup menu a while back, asked the same thing then... :roll: Hi Gezza, I suppose I could do that, but I like to use precise trendlines that align with certain expansion/contraction ratios. Kind of like...

Re: New Order Placement Tools in 2.26
Earik, OK, sounds good. One more thing -- while watching the intro video on the new order placement tools, I noticed an icon on the toolbar array that is not on mine. It's under the Geometry group, on the bottom, right underneath the squares tool. It appears to be some sort of fan. What is that? Todd

Re: New Order Placement Tools in 2.26
Have to agree with W59 being nonpareil, and of course it's always a happy day when a new version comes out. Earik: trendlines are a valuable part of my toolkit, but in my practice they generate buy/sell signals when touched or only slightly exceeded within an existing trend, or, most importantly, du...

Earik,
Ahh, excellent, adding -1 to bars_per_day did the trick. Onward...
Thanks!

Re: plotting the open
Earik, Thanks for the suggestion. Is this what you mean (in bold) ? Input: OH_color(blue),thick(1); IF (barnum == barsback) { startbar,endbar=barnum; bpd= bars_per_day; } IF (day[-1]!= day ) { myclose=close;myhigh=high;mylow=low;myopen=open [bars_per_day] ; startbar=barnum+1;endbar=barnum+bpd-1; For...

plotting the open
I'm building a script that will do calculations on the O,C,H,L for the daily RTH and 24 hr time frames. Everything is fine, except the following code will not return the open. It returns the open of the last bar of the day instead. No problem with H,L,C. I'm stuck at this point. Any suggestions will...

Re: SpreadIB for Wave59, help !
JGL,
I remember having some funky issues with a symbol or two after installing the most recent version of SpreadIB some time ago. That cleared up after I deleted all the default symbols and added only my own. You might try that, see if it helps.

Re: SpreadIB for Wave59, help !
Hi all, My previous message contained an error. The destination path for SpreadIB should read: C:\Users\NAME\Documents\Wave59\data\IB Sorry about that. Also, JGL, be sure to include the full description of the security. For instance, SPY_STK_SMART_USD. Your example doesn't include "USD." That will c...
