Re: ES (energy perspective) coming into the weekend

Also, FYI, if a chart is too small or hard to read (like mine in this post), right-click on it and you can open it full-size in a new tab. This board shrinks them all down a little too small...

ES (energy perspective) coming into the weekend

Hi All, I've been (slowly) working towards 2.23, and had a few minutes to check the ES from an energy perspective. One of the bugs that got fixed was the ability to do full 24-hour plots in energy without missing data or getting weird volume resets. So if your energy charts don't look this nice yet,...

Re: Volume Delta Charts

Hi Simon, That's not good... Next time you suspect this is happening, would you mind doing a quick test? 1) Options - Recalculate All. Anything different? 2) Shut W59 down, bring it back up. Anything different now? 3) Go back to IQCollector and re-download the data. Now? There are a few places this ...

Re: Old Threads

Hi ND, You seem to be missing some bars on that chart... How's that scale factor working out for you in these volatile markets? :D The ephemeris shows the energy for every degree at the moment you calculate it for. So it's much more of a snapshot-in-time sort of thing. The chart is different. The ch...

Re: Ephemeris configuration

Hi Delta, In the Epehmeris menu at the top, click on Format, then look in the "special" group box, and check "show exchange". That will put the MC and ASC on there. For the AT wheel, look under Format - Astrotrader Enhancements, and you can plot the wheel. If you don't see that second one, it could ...

Re: Old Threads

Hi Absstar21, The two databases are completely different, so it's more than just copying the contents of one and pasting it into the other. You have to figure out how to map all the fields over, and do an insert into the new one. I've backed everything up so that's a possibility, but I'm still not s...

Energy Bar Fix, and SAR Dots

Hi Gang, I just fixed a bug in the energy bar plot (thanks Alex!) that was causing some weird resetting issues. This will now work properly in Forex, as well as in really low volume after-market sessions. Watch for 2.23, due in (hopefully) a few days. Anyway... does anyone remember those old SAR dot...

Re: IQCollector

Hi Todd, That download history form is actually a separate program, although it doesn't look like it. There's a bug (fixed, but not released yet) that incorrectly sets the path to the symbols list, which results in no symbols to download data for. The easiest way to fix it is to go file - data folde...

Re: Newbie (to W59) Astro Analysis

Hi Quark, You're welcome. ;) I've found that the Moon tends to pretty much be the most important player, especially when you look intraday. Back in W59's first ever conference (2006 in Boulder), when I got to this stuff, one of the big rules was just to focus on Moon aspects only, and forget about e...

Re: Aug 14 Astro + Volume

Ok, since it's Friday, and no one is on here, I'm going to just reply to my last post and continue the conversation. :D Here's a twist. Rather than using ME-style intraday astro, here's a look using the energy histogram from Astrotrader. For those of you unfamiliar, this is a way to get an automatic...
