Re: How I optimize
There is always the "Am I overfitting?" in the back of my head. I try my darnedest to not overfit. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Re: How I optimize
To add some more color to my initial post. Here is the full spreadsheet I was looking at: 2022-12-07_10-40-24.png On row 6 (ES), I had a resultant number of 0.84, it was my worse performer (per the System Report results from Wave59). So this was my focus before Q1 begins. After relooking at my strat...

How I optimize
Hi All, I would like to share my approach in how I think about optimizing my day-to-day activities. I trade 99% as a mechanical/system trader these days. Like most of you I trade only the Futures markets. I am currently trading 9 different markets. I also try very hard not to touch my setup for 3 mo...

Re: exporting/importing chart files
Hmm. I just did this the other day. Maybe we need to be a little more surgical?
If you navigate to that working directory folder, you should see a "saved" sub-folder. Just grab the one chart file that is of interest to you and move that over.

Re: exporting/importing chart files
You can just copy the contents of the current Wave59 working directory to the new machine's working directory after you install. (I would zip up both directories first, just so you have a backup and to help facilitate the copying.)
To find the working directory: file -> working directory

Re: Vertical Line time and Date - how to
If you choose the first (topmost) cursor on the left hand side (the normal crosshairs). What happens when you use that? Do you see the time and date at the bottom when you just drag your mouse around the chart? It might just be something simple like the font you choose (chart settings -> color -> Fo...

Re: How to selectively turn on FOG Lines
Hey srj, Unfortunately I know nothing about FOG lines. The QScript should be relatively straightforward. But the challenge (which is what you allude to) is adding the bit of interactiveness to the chart. I believe one of the Ken(n)'s did some of this work in the past. Might be on the old forum at th...

Not sure if even a child could do it. You seem to make it look easy.

Thanks GFish for the indicator. I haven't had a chance to load it up yet, but I am thinking about playing with it on the RTY.
