Cagliostro Book?
Hi Everyone, I wanted to run an idea past you all. Back around the 1700's, there was a very famous numerologist who lived in France named Cagliostro. He was known for being able to forecast winning lottery numbers in the Paris lottery. Back then, you'd win something with just one number correct. So ...

Re: Accessing Neural Net value from QScript?
The NN interface into QScript is one of those things that's been on the to-do list for years and never quite made it. The text file workaround method you described is the only way to do it at this point.

Re: Keyboard input?
Hi Hjelmstade, No, it won't do that. I have seen some clever ways of getting around the format box. Check out Kurt's vortex script in the library (www.wave59.com/library). He built a slider that sits on the screen, which you can move up and down to do different things. Sort of the same thing, but us...

Re: Lost charts
Hi Dave, Open W59, then go file - working directory, and note the location. Then, manually navigate there, and look for the "saved" folder. This is where all charts and groups are saved. A group will be represented by an entire folder (named after the group), and then the charts inside will be numbe...

Webinar tomorrow
Hi Everyone, Some of you know that I've been involved with setting up both a commodity pool as well as a CTA the last few years, and the introducing broker I'm working with has invited me to talk about it all in a webinar they have scheduled for tomorrow. If anyone here is also interested, you are m...

Re: new Dr. Al chart
Hi Thomas, It means he's using something that is slower than the 4th harmonic, and wants to see where all his lines end up. Imagine watching a planet transit past NY. That's going to happen one time per day. If you watch the 2nd harmonic of that (add in the 180), that's twice a day, and if you watch...

Re: new Dr. Al chart
Was this a scalping strategy or something? Back when I worked at the CBOT (upstairs, not downstairs), I'd talk with the floor traders about this sort of thing. Since everyone basically knew everyone, it was very obvious who the good traders and bad traders were (and who the FBI agents pretending to ...

Re: new Dr. Al chart
Back when there were private rooms in here, I set one up for him. He only wanted the CCT people to be allowed in though, so it was basically dead from the start, and there were only ever like 4 posts. Hosting on his end probably makes a lot more sense in light of that...

Re: 2.24 notes
I know you are doing your best at this, and I thank you. But I am wondering if we, the Wave59 members, aught to engaged in a public relations campaign with DTN-IQ Feed 's management to suggest, 1) An interest in providing these data features, and 2) Greater fluidity in the transmission of the data ...
