Re: Tesla's multiplication spiral
LOL. Seminar details have been encoded into the graphic shown in Kurt's post above. For those able to decipher the coordinates of the location, and complete the journey by the required date and time, the event promises to be a singular experience.

Re: Systems Workshop: "Buttonwood" E-mini daytrading system
Buttonwood_v7: A better way to trade the equity curve I probably should have waited a bit longer before posting v6 yesterday, as I really wasn't very happy with increasing our max drawdown value as much as that approach required. Since there's an FOMC announcement today, and since I don't like tryi...

Re: Systems Workshop: "Buttonwood" E-mini daytrading system
Buttonwood_v6: Trading the Equity Curve Hi Gang, I had a chance to mess around with our Buttonwood system this afternoon, and have found an interesting way forward. My initial plan was to create another astro-based market filter and do a best-out-of-three sort of approach, but those are kind of a p...

Re: IB Spread Client question
Hi Sbank, It's Christoph's alternative to the History59 utility that comes with W59. It's a data collector for Interactive Brokers. It can create spreads, and it can also download history from the night session, which are both limitations to H59. You only need it if you are using IB for data. Regard...

Re: Carnage From WallStreet Giants
Hi Supracharger, Could it be other things that stopped people in the old days from being profitable trading. Like the high costs of trading, the bad outlook of WallStreet snobs, slow communication of quotes, the alien like environment etc. that all depressed people from having a job with WallStreet....

Re: Price not updating
Hi newtrader,
Double-check your end time (format - chart). If that time is less than the time stored in your file, then W59 won't think the data belongs, and will just skip it. Try 2359, which is the latest time you can put there. See if that gets you going...

Re: Price not updating
Hi newtrader75, W59 doesn't update off of text files. Those are for offline trading only. So you can mess around with them in whatever way, but W59 isn't going to know to do anything unless you specifically tell it to refresh (like using Baha's Recalc All suggestion). Alternatively, just closing and...

Re: Loaded question
ND, Geometry is awesome stuff, but it's not very suited to mechanical systems. It's just WAY too hard to teach a computer to understand that sort of thing. The whole, placing, sizing, spinning, multiple spiral targets, etc, would be a nightmare to program. Technically possible, but really hard. Earik
