Re: Mechanical Systems for Intraday
Yeah, daily ranges got larger, but so did sort intra-day time frames. Not unusual to see 5-minute bar swings larger tnan daily ranges were 5-6 years ago.

Thanks Earik.

Re: Mechanical Systems for Intraday
Hi sbank, Thanks for your post. Numbers look decent already from what I can see. I was simply curious if anyone was able to come up with a profitable intra-day system for ES, like a 2-15 minute time frame, because that's where most of the effort was concentrated. Mechanical Systems for Intraday
Hi Earik, I remember there were lots of attempts, years ago, to create a decent Mechanical System for ES or similar for intraday. But the low daily range plus slippage and commissions made it prohibitive for intraday trading. Just curious if you or anyone else was able to create a decent intraday sy...

Re: 180 degrees difference...why?
My experience with Gann traders, over the years, was similar to what Earik is describing. Don't want to take anything away from Gann, some of his methods have a place in trading. But the more you get familiar with his material and the sheer size of it, the more I think that Gann was paddling way mor...

I did play with those, and created a few systems……but never used them

Re: ChatGPT
Thanks for your reply. Yeah, after a few days of trying it out - I came to same conclusion. It seems their conversion of EA to Qscript is not any better than built in converter in Wave59. I personally did not find any real way of building systems with ChartGPT, but then my knowledge in scripting is ...
