Re: Predicted trends - are they useful?
Also, just to illustrate, its too early to determine if the 28 July high was a pivot, but IF it turns out to be a pivot, then the trend and channel is shown in the below screen shot using the same tool as all the prior examples. This also highlights another factor with predicted trend lines and that...

Re: Predicted trends - are they useful?
Same as last picture but using different chart scale to show relative direction of predicted line does not require user to set the 'right' scale.

Re: Predicted trends - are they useful?
Thanks Joe and Todd for the great comments. If I may paraphrase: 1. Todd notes that accuracy is required if predicted lines are to be of any use (and correct scaling by user is normally required for some predicted trend lines like Gann's fan etc). 2. Joe illustrated an approach which tends to confir...

Predicted trends - are they useful?
Dear Group As I sit in my covid cockpit, I've been wondering about the worth of a predicted trend (or channel). By that I mean a trend (or channel) that is predicted after a pivot point is confirmed (see pictures below). I saw something advertised for W59 users which would do that (for a large price...

Price market behaviour - Gann's pointer to trend confirmed
I'd like to share an intriguing feature of price market behaviour uncovered during my research. The behaviour points to a connection between past and future, influenced by the present. I've included some possibilities for Wave 59 users. I found that the close price direction for the next bar is indi...

Re: Square Scaling
Hi sbank My experience tells me that generally speaking, getting a useful scale is based on reverse engineering ie find a scale that makes a technique work. For example, say you wish to use a square shape - adjust the scale so that the first square works as you'd like it to, and then use that scale ...

Re: Cagliostro Book?
I'd be grateful if someone could send me a copy of a page towards the end of the book ie the page covering the diagrams for numerals 49 to 54 inclusive (they are missing from my library version and it would save me a trip to a state library).
My private email is jaworski@tpg.com.au
Many thanks

Counting bars - mind the gaps
Dear Group I recently came across something a bit un-intuitive in W59 that caught me out, so I'd like to mention it here it to save the same happening to others. Summary The issue is that gaps in the chart (ie blank areas where you would normally see a price bar) have an impact on all the tools that...

Re: Speed Resistance Lines
Hi Dave
Maybe Earik will have a better answer, but in the meantime you can use the retracement tool, set the required points (eg 1/3, 2/3) and draw trendlines (see picture below). Alternatively, you could use write some code using qscript to do the same thing.
Cheers
